Choose hiding places your group can reach. Give players the next clue after they find the previous one.

A hunt ready to hide

Every card's clue names the place where the next card waits. Print the cards and the host's route, hide them in order, and hand the players card 1.

Leave out places you don't have

Where to hide everything

Hide these before the players arrive, then hand them card 1.

  1. Pillow: hide card 2 here. Slip the clue under a pillow on a made bed.
  2. TV remote: hide card 3 here. Put the clue under the remote in its usual spot.
  3. Oven mitt: hide card 4 here. Use a mitt that hangs away from the stove.
  4. Doormat: hide card 5 here. Use the doormat on the inside of the door.
  5. Bookshelf: hide card 6 here. Mark one book and place the clue beside it.
  6. Coat hook: hide card 7 here. Use an empty low hook, not someone else's coat.
  7. Towel: hide card 8 here. Fold the clue into a hanging towel, away from the sink.
  8. Laundry basket: hide the prize here. The last card's clue leads here.
