What is free, and where the real limits are
Everything on MadBright is free. There is no account, no signup wall, no email capture, no watermark, and no limit on how many boards, cards or sheets you print. This page says what that covers, where the real limits are, and what the other game makers charge, so you know before you spend fifteen minutes writing a board.

Every maker, every question bank, every template and every printable on this site is free to use and free to print, with no account and no email address.
Nothing is saved to a server. A board lives in the link you copy and, if you save it, in that one browser. That is a privacy decision, and it is also the honest limit described below.
What that covers
All five makers, complete with a working default so you never start from an empty grid. Every question bank in full, with answers. Every finished board, with a player sheet and a host key. Every printable, at full resolution and without a watermark.
There is no paid tier holding back a feature, no cap on how many cards or sheets you generate, and no point at which the site asks you to upgrade to finish what you started.
The real limits, stated plainly
Saves are per browser. There is no cross-device sync and no cloud library, so a board saved on a classroom laptop is not on your phone. Share the link instead; the link carries the whole board.
Clearing your browser data deletes your saved boards, because they were only ever on your machine. Nobody at MadBright can recover them.
Paper, ink and a printer are yours to supply. The printing guide covers paper weight and duplex settings so you waste fewer sheets.
What the other game makers charge
This matters because most of the category is not free in the way it first appears. The largest quiz-board maker charges twenty dollars for a lifetime membership and caps how many questions a free game may hold. Bingo Baker charges $24.95 lifetime. Factile requires an account before you can create anything and sells plans from four dollars a month billed annually. My Free Bingo Cards gives thirty cards free, then charges ten dollars for a hundred.
Those are published prices observed on each site on 2026-07-25, not estimates, and they may change. Check the vendor's own page before relying on any of them.
