The charades cards were not dealt
This maker could not prepare the activity in this browser. Nothing was sent to a server. Use the finished, printable option below instead.
The cards are cut from a bank that is shuffled here, so there is no finished set to hand you. The prompts that are already written out for reading to a room are the would you rather bank: 235 of them, grouped by the room you are hosting.

Run charades without rule disputes
Before the timer starts
- Decide whether sounds, mouthing and pointing are allowed.
- Agree the time limit. Sixty seconds works for mixed groups.
- Remove prompts that need knowledge the group does not share.
For classrooms
- Use vocabulary actions, processes and historical situations.
- Let the acting student pass once without losing the turn.
- Ask the guesser to define the term after naming it.
