How to run a quiz round
Read one question, allow the agreed thinking time, and collect answers before revealing the key.

Choose a response method
Use a written answer sheet, a nominated speaker or a shared board. Avoid changing the response method halfway through a scored round.
Give a practice question
Demonstrate how to answer, how to pass and when answers become final. Do not score the practice question.
Keep the answer private
Use the host key or per-question reveal. If projecting a browser, keep the answer panel closed until responses are final.
Check the wording
If a team challenges an answer, open its source and read the relevant passage. Correct a flawed question for everyone; do not improvise a new scoring rule for one team.
