How MadBright tools work

MadBright makes each game in your browser. You get a complete example first, can change it before printing, and can see the limits that may affect your activity.

What the tools produce

MadBright makes review-game boards, charades prompts, bingo cards, word-search puzzles, and trivia sets. Each one opens with a complete example that you can use immediately or change first.

MadBright does not make crossword puzzles. A useful crossword needs carefully crossing answers and clear clues, so a weak automatic version would not be ready to hand to a group.

Default content and factual sources

Built-in factual questions include the sentence used to check the answer, the source name, and a link to the exact saved version of that source. The source supports that fact; it does not endorse MadBright or decide whether the question suits your group.

Creative prompts and activity instructions are checked for clarity and duplication, not presented as sourced facts. Material you enter is not checked or published by MadBright. Check custom names, dates, answers, and suitability before you print or host the game.

How cards and puzzles are mixed

Bingo uses your item list in a different order on each card. Word search places the longest words first, allows letters to cross when they match, and fills empty squares after placing the words.

These mixes are meant for games and classroom activities. They do not guarantee that every possible result is equally likely. Use a dedicated, independently checked service for formal assessments, gambling, prize drawings, or security-sensitive choices.

What sharing and saving do

Copy share link adds a compact copy of the current game after the # in its web address. Your browser uses that part of the address to restore the game. It is not included in the ordinary page request sent to MadBright's server.

Save on this device keeps a separate copy in this browser profile. It is not an account or a server backup. Clearing site data, using another browser or device, or deleting the saved item can make it unavailable. Later edits do not change an older link or saved copy until you share or save again.

Known limits

Very long custom games can produce links that some messaging apps shorten or wrap. Keep clues concise and test a shared link before distributing it to a group.

Print or save as PDF uses your browser's print window, so page breaks, margins, and paper choices can vary by browser and printer. The printing guide lists settings that work well with MadBright's sheets.

Corrections and revisions

When MadBright corrects a built-in factual item, the on-screen question, answer, supporting sentence, source link, and printed copy must be updated together. Send a correction to [email protected] with the page address, the exact item, what you expected, and what you saw.
