Common-ground pairs

Partners discuss a hobby, food or activity they enjoy. Find one shared interest and introduce it to the group only if both agree.

You need no supplies. Swap partners after each pair has shared.

Silent line-up

Ask players to arrange themselves by the month of an invented birthday, using gestures only. Read the months aloud afterward to check the order.

Use invented dates so nobody has to reveal personal information. Offer a seated arrangement.

Object introductions

Each person chooses an ordinary object in view and explains one possible use for it. The next player chooses another use or another object.

No one needs to show a personal possession.

Group sketch

Draw a shared imaginary place. Each person adds one feature and explains it. Stop when every volunteer has contributed.

Use a sheet of paper or a shared drawing surface.

Mirror partners

One partner leads slow hand gestures and the other mirrors them. Switch roles, then discuss what made the movements easy to follow.

Play seated or standing; no contact is needed.

Plan the round and team scores

8 turns × 60 seconds = 8 minutes of play, plus instructions and breaks.
