Okay, so the first point, we’re going to tackle it from is differentiating between imagination and sensations. So when a stressful feeling, or some discomfort arises, something that’s not peaceful. When that arises, we can let’s break it down into two components. There’s the imagination side, and these are the thoughts and the fantasies, which come up with the feeling. Then there’s the, the feeling itself, the sensations, the experience, the the radical, experiential reality, what you’re actually experiencing in your body. What you’re actually experiencing. Okay, so really simply, what we’re going to do is, is we’re going to cut off the imagination. We cut it off, we stop and the way we cut it off, right? We don’t resist it. If it’s there, then it’s there. And it’s there. If we try to push it away, it’s only going to our to it by pushing it away, we’re actually putting our attention to it and feeding it and giving it our energy giving an intention. Attention energy, we could call that. So rather than resisting it, we allow it to be there. And we, we just recognize that it has no basis in reality. So this is number one that begins to shatter the foundation upon which it stands. Number one, these thoughts, all the thoughts that come in mind, they have no basis in reality. They have no basis in reality, they are all imaginations, every single one if you if you investigate every single thought that comes up, you will see it’s all imagined, every single thought. It’s not based in what is being actually experienced. It’s just imagination. That’s that’s the first thing to to help in. uprooting it, uprooting our interest in it, because what we’re trying to do is actually withdraw interest from it. So if it’s there, we allow it. And we, we just buy into decisions make the decision to not feed it further. We don’t resist it. We don’t try to force it to not be there. We just ignore it and don’t pay attention. That’s it. And we do our best in this regard. And slowly these thoughts will start to our attention will be withdrawn away from them, and we won’t notice them as much withdrawal will withdraw our attention from it’s a withdrawing from engaging in it further. In a way we can do that is by actually focusing on the sensation So that other part the sensations by focusing on the actual sensations we experiencing, so attention, we, we look it out, we say, Well, what am I actually experiencing right now? Okay, ignore these thoughts no matter what they are, this is a, this is a good point a good anchor. So no matter what the thought is find within you the willingness to surrender interest in that thought. So, ask yourself, you know, am I willing to try this method out? Am I willing to give it a fair shot? Am I willing to ignore every thought no matter what it is, and instead, put all my attention on what I’m actually experiencing. So, their sensations, the sensations I am experiencing, and for a reason that might get clarified later on. We’re not even going to call it that I’m experiencing my body just pure. What am I experiencing? What is my pure experience right now? So am I willing to you know, just have a fun experiment and put all my attention on the sensations. Okay? And the reason this works, when your attention is on the sensations, it’s not in the thoughts. It’s not in the thoughts. So we can withdraw our attention from the imagination side, by putting our attention on to the sensations. And this is really, I, in my own like understanding of it, there’s not really a technique for it. It’s just a willingness to be with the sensations to stick with them, and to not get distracted by thoughts, but not to not engage in further and if you find yourself engaging in them in the machination in the thoughts Then you simply bring yourself to those sensations again. So it’s a willingness. It’s this. That’s, that’s the technique. That’s what it is. It’s a willingness to be with your sensations. If I’m saying the same thing over and over again, there’s a reason for that. Because this course is really bringing a new subject that you may have not heard of. And the way we learn in this course, is through familiarity, through familiarity, not through some logical sequence. So we’re just getting familiar, getting the mind familiar with a new topic, through and through that familiarity, we increase that likelihood of the aha moment coming through. And that’s what we’re looking for in this course, we’re looking for that aha moment that click Oh, okay, that’s all I gotta do, or I’ll start to do it. Then you just you start to do it. You get into it, and you build your own intuitive understanding. You build your own intuitive understanding.
