Do you make characters always in anatomy? Do you want to learn the shapes of the human body, then you've come to the right place!

INSTRUCTOR: My name is Miguel Hernandez and I am a 3D character artist for games for about 10 years now. I have worked for games, collectibles, and miniatures and currently, work as a character sculptor.

At some point, we realized that the anatomy tutorial was available but weak I'm on this point so I was searching Character Base Shapes such course. Sadly there were almost none available. So that I am doing this course in real-time in zbrush, because I think the best way to explain basic forms is to sculpt it in 3D and view muscles and forms from all angles.

We will start this course by making the overall shape of a male and we will explain its forms and proportions. Then we will make the torso shape and we will explain its forms. Next, we will make the head, and we will talk about their forms and. So make sure not to miss it!

This course doesn't require previous knowledge of basic shapes, although it could be useful. we really think it is a must-have for all artists interested in characters but don't know how to do it.

Have you finished a full character with textures & fine details but still you felt like something was wrong? If yes, then this course is for you.

Learn anatomy sculpting in ZBrushCore 2021 with this course and improve your character sculpting skills, Anatomy being the most crucial for a character or creature artist but it is the most ignored topic in the industry. We teach and always press this that anatomy is surely the foundation for every character/creature artist or animator etc.

Many students get discouraged when it comes to studying anatomy because we are all drawn to all the fine details and realistic renders, I must confess i was also like that when i begun. I was so ignorant of the anatomy for such a long time until i got stuck in this hole where i finally didn't know what was wrong with my art and i couldn't solve it, only to find my primary and secondary forms where not in place(which is anatomy).

Anatomy is the foundation for all sculpts, this course will teach you how to sculpt a male anatomy figure in ZBrush Core.

We will go through:

1) Proportions

2) Primary forms

3) Basic articulation for 3D printing

4) Secondary forms & Tertiary details

By the end of this course you should know the basic tricks of anatomy figure sculpting in ZBrush.

Polymer Clay Kaleidoscope Canes

Adventures in Polymer Clay Canes

Created by Anna Maria Schoenenberger - Former Geek-Now and Artist

"]

Students: 365, Price: Free

In this class, the students will learn all the basic skills necessary to make a Kaleidoscope Cane. I will give a short explanation of what a Kaleidoscope is, include the construction of the cane from various component canes. We will then review the Materials and Tools required to complete the class including polymer clay, cutting blades, rollers and a pasta machine. I will then do a short review of conditioning the clay using the pasta machine to ensure the material is supple and pliable for use. The students will then learn how to construct some basic component canes. Components canes include a 3-color Bullseye Cane, a 3-color Spiral Cane, a 3-color Stacked Cane, a rainbow Border Cane and a 2-color Triangle Cane. Once the component canes are assembled, the student will learn how to configure those canes into a complex Square Kaleidoscope Cane and a Pie Kaleidoscope Cane. I will discuss cane reduction techniques including the use of rollers to ensure the design stays consistent throughout the cane. I will also demonstrate how to line up the registration lines of the reduced canes and I will demonstrate a double reduction technique for a more complex design. The class wrap up will include an invitation to join future classes.
