I work in the commercial art industry and am called upon to turn around a high volume of work in a short time. Just a week prior to this video, one job had the client needing 4 drawings within 8 hours. But in the first couple hours of that 8 hour time, I also have to delivery rough pencils for approval to make sure the composition and layout (as well as the look and feel of the people/characters) read very quickly, and clear. There really isn’t time to sit and adjust each feature as if working on a portrait commission. You have lay down the details fast, and move on--- Or miss the deadline.

This course includes the Mechanical design of Storage vessels and Tall columns such as distillation column. It also includes  the process design of shell and Tube Heat Exchanger and Calendria type single effect evaporator. It is useful for the better understanding of the design course of Chemical Engineering. This course is an attempt towards the conceptual understanding of the design aspects of some of the process equipments. Thermal design of shell and Tube Heat Exchanger is well described based on the Kern's Method available in the open source literature. The Mechanical Design of storage vessel and Tall column is emphasized with the design of important part of the process vessels.The codes used to design the storage vessels are API-650 and IS-803.  The process deign of single effect evaporator starts with the process calculations of Material balance and Enthalpy balance of evaporator. The storage vessels are used to store the fluids in chemical industries, whereas the tall columns such as distillation column and absorption column are used for the separation.

Worm and worm wheel gears are widely used for nonparallel, non intersecting and right angle gear drive system applications where a high transmission gearing ratio is required. In comparison to other gear, belt and chain transmission elements, worm and worm wheel gear sets tend to offer a more compact solution with high reduction. The internal combustion (IC) engine has been the dominant prime mover in our society since its invention. An internal combustion engines such as gasoline or diesel engines are a power source for many applications like automobiles, ships, aircraft etc. IC engine will be the backbone for vehicle powertrains even in the foreseeable future. In an internal combustion engine, the expansion of the high-temperature and high-pressure gases produced by combustion of fuels applies direct force to some component of the engine. The force is applied typically to pistons, turbine blades, a rotor, or a nozzle. This force moves the component over a distance, transforming chemical energy into useful work. Simply, its purpose is to generate mechanical power from the chemical energy contained in the fuel and released through combustion of the fuel inside the engine.
