Internet Protocol Security, or what is known as IPSEC, is a VPN protocol suite widely used nowadays in our network to connect 2 or more offices securely to each other using the public internet service, and this will save for companies a lot of cost and time instead of using dedicated leased lines between their offices.

However, configuring IPSEC correctly is a challenge because IPSEC is considered as a Framework protocol which has many sub-protocols and phases under its umbrella.

I have designed this course to help you to understand how IPSEC works, that means that big part of this course is going to be a theoretical part explaining in details all parts of IPSEC. During this course, I will explain also about a lot of security terms that we always hear and is used on IPSEC such as: Encryption, Hashing, Authentication, Deffie-Hellman, Symmetric and Asymmetric keys, etc.....

After the theoretical part, I am going to do LABs where I will show you how to configure correctly IPSEC on MikroTik Routers and we will test it to see if it works good. The LABs will include both versions of IPSEC which are IKEv1 and IKEv2.

That's in brief what I am going to do in this course, of course more details will be shown in the lessons.

I can't wait to see you in my course .

Many of you as network engineers have been requested to install a complete wireless network in a hotel, mall or exhibitions so the Wi-Fi covers the whole area to allow users to enjoy the wireless internet connectivity. In such a complex network, you require 10's and sometimes 100's of Wireless Access Points (APs) to provide the full coverage.

Those APs require configuration to let them work, so if you have for example 100 APs to configure then you need to configure them one by one and this takes a lot of time.

In our case, we can use MikroTik CAPsMAN so all MikroTik AP's can be controlled from one device and all settings on the Wireless can be changed from the CAPsMAN MikroTik Router - and this is the mission of this course.

In this course, I will show you how you can connect all APs to the CAPsMAN and how you can control everything from the CAPsMAN itself. With a real LAB scenario, I will show you step by step how you can configure everything at the CAPsMAN then we will connect to the wireless and see that it is going to be working without any problem.

Topics that will be covered in this course are:

  • Initial Configuration on the CAPsMAN

  • Connect the CAPs to the CAPsMAN with and without certificates

  • Create Channels in CAPsMAN

  • Create Security profiles in CAPsMAN

  • Create Configuration containers in the CAPsMAN

  • Create Datapaths in CAPsMAN

  • Make Provisioning in the CAPsMAN

  • Configure VLAN's on CAPsMAN

  • Create Access lists

  • Make a backup CAPsMAN for failover

MikroTik CAPsMAN is very required and information about how to configure it is not very clear, so this course can be like a reference for you to understand in details with LABS how to make MikroTik CAPsMAN works.

I hope that you will enjoy my course.

OSPF routing protocol is one the best (if not the best) interior routing protocol that many networks' companies use it. It has a lot of features and it is very reliable to be configured on our networks' routers as a routing protocol - that's the good side of the story.

The bad side of the story: OSPF is a COMPLEX routing protocol to understand and to configure. Many network engineers working with MikroTik products find OSPF difficult and many of them try to replace it with a simple routing protocol which doesn't requires a lot of IT knowledge such as RIP. That's the easiest way to solve the problem, but believe it that RIP will become a big issue and will cause for you a lot of problems when your network becomes bigger with many routers.

For this reason, I have planned to design this course to go fully into OSPF. During this course, I will pass through all OSPF topics & I will explain them in a very simple way then I will do a LAB on each of those topics to show you how you can configure this on MikroTik.

This course will have a total of 14 LABS based on a step-by-step to make it easy for students to understand each of the topics.

For the whole course, I will be using GNS3 emulator with the Free Mikrotik CHR license to be able to do my labs. If you are already an old students of my courses, then you may already know how to download/install GNS3 and make it work with the CHR image. With this method, you don't need to invest in buying physical MikroTik routers to follow my course.

So in brief, you have in total a 17 step-by-step LABS in addition of my theoretical lectures that you can profit from this course - all topics and LABS are on OSPF only.

If you want to understand OSPF in the easiest way possible, don't wait to purchase this course so I can share my knowledge to you.

Hope to see you in my course.

MikroTik MTCINE is the hardest and the more complex course track in MikroTik. Actually it is the one and only advanced course between all MikroTik courses and it requires as a pre-requisite the MTCNA course as well as MTCRE course.

As being a complex course, I have decided to design this course in which I explain all topics of the MTCINE track. In this course, I will explain and do LABS about the Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) and Multiple Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) which are both considered very advanced topics and implemented inside the networks of the Internet Service Provider (ISP).

So in this course, I will cover the following topics:

• What is Autonomous System (AS)

• What is Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)?

• Path Vector algorithm

• BGP Transport and packet types

• iBGP and eBGP

• Stub network scenarios and private AS removal

• Non-stub scenarios

• iBGP and eBGP multi-hop and loopback usage

• Route distribution and routing filters

• BGP best path selection algorithm

• BGP prefix attributes and their usage

• BGP route reflectors and confederations

• MPLS basics

• Static label mapping

• Label Distribution Protocol (LDP)

• Penultimate-hop-popping

• MPLS traceroute differences

• LDP based VPLS tunnels

• Bridge split horizon

• BGP based VPLS

• BGP based layer3 tunnels (L3VPN)

• What is traffic engineering and how it works

• RSVP, static path, dynamic path (CSPF)

• Bandwidth allocation and bandwidth limitation differences and settings

All my courses will be based on LABS, so I advice you to run GNS3 with MikroTik CHR image to be able to follow this course because in some LABS you require to run 7 MikroTik Routers in 1 LAB.

Finally, if you want to master the topics of the MTCINE track, I advise you to enroll in my course and I will help you with your mission.

In every production network, monitoring is an essence. What if you can do monitoring with very advanced features and the software that you get is for FREE? Yes that's possible. MikroTik offer The Dude software free of charge. This software is used to monitor network devices, controlling them using its tools and getting notifications once a problem on the device occur.

However, making The Dude up and running is not very easy and many engineers don't know how to use it. For this reason, I have designed this course which speaks in details about MikroTik The Dude and its features using practical LABS so you can apply this directly to your network.

Additionally, I have added a lecture in the 1st section of the course showing how you can monitor the bandwidth traffic used by each user per IP on graphs. This is independent from The Dude itself.

If you want to monitor your network devices correctly using MikroTik The Dude software and know what this software can give you as features, I advise you to join this course and I am sure that I will help you to understand this topic.

MPLS is a protocol that runs inside the ISP networks. Deploying MPLS is always a challenge because of its complexity. However, MPLS has a much better performance than any other routing protocol because it works on Labels for the routing decision and it works on layer 2.5 instead of layer 3 as other routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF and BGP.

Using MPLS, the ISP will be able to have a lot of benefits from feature that it provides such as Layer 3 VPN using VRF, Layer 2 VPN using VPLS, Traffic Engineering Tunnels and much more.

In this course, I will go through MPLS from scratch, so I am going to explain to you what MPLS is exactly and how it works, then i am going to start doing labs to cover all topics possibles in MPLS.

Topics that I am going to cover in this course are:

  • Introduction to MPLS

  • MPLS Basics, MPLS Labels and MPLS Filtering

  • MPLS Layer3 VPN - VRF

  • MPLS Layer 2 VPN - VPLS

  • MPLS Traffic Engineering

All the course will be based on hands-on LABS, so by end of the course you will have a big understanding of how to deploy MPLS in your ISP using MikroTik Routers.

To be able to follow this course, you can use GNS3 because in some LABS we require to have up to 7 MikroTik Routers. Of course if you have those routers than you can deploy them and work on physical routers to to the LABS.

Finally, If you have to master MPLS on MikroTik and understand how it works, I highly advise you to register in my course and get all the information that i am going to share with you.
