Ditch the Slots and Switch To Casino Table Games

Lose less money, have more fun by switching from slots to table games and reducing the house edge.

Created by Mark Radcliffe - Principal @ TradeUp Today

Students: 5471, Price: Free

In Vegas and around the country millions of people a year pump their money into slot machines.

Did you know that the house edge on slot machines can be as high as 15%?

Did you also know that you can get the house edge on a Blackjack table down to 1/3%?

That means you 45 times more likely to win money at the Blackjack table than a slot machine.

This course is designed to take you through all the available table games, what the focus of each game is and how it compares to slot machine play. By the end of this course you will be able to walk into a Casino knowing which table game you want to play.

We'll cover:

  • Games of pure chance, like Roulette, Casino War and Baccarat
  • Games where you can make decisions that affect the house edge, like Blackjack, Three Card Poker and Craps
  • Other areas of the Casino like the poker room and the sports book

This is a comprehensive look at everything in the Casino outside of the slot machines. If you feel intimidated or unsure about these areas it's time to fix that.

Mark over @ TradeUp Today has put this course together along with several others to provide you with a full education on table play at Vegas Casinos as well as pretty much any Casino you walk into.

This course is a FREE course with great content on every game to help you decide which games you want to play. If you decide you want to learn a game in more detail check out our other courses on Udemy for specific games and their strategies.

Quit Video Games For 30 Days: Boost Your Productivity

Start Accomplishing More Goals & Boost Your Productivity With This 30 Day Challenge

Created by John Shea - Owner of No Shame Income

Students: 5235, Price: Free

*Last Updated August 2018*

In this course I provide some in-depth insight on how quitting video games for an entire 30 days helped me boost my productivity and change my outlook on playing video games in general.

I personally battled with video game addiction years ago playing games such as World of Warcraft and EverQuest. This course reflects on those experiences and how they affected my life.

If you decide to take this challenge of quitting video games for 30 days I'm going to share with you some simple ways you can:

  • Boost overall productivity

  • Work on more of your personal goals

  • Use a "to do" list goal approach to accomplishing more in your free time

Taking a break for 30 days is a good way to step back a bit if you've been playing games for all your life like I had. I found I'm now able to easily get more done and not commit so much time just to playing games. It's improved my self discipline and mental state of mind.

Of course quitting games entirely is a big step, my biggest recommendation is to take this course and commit for 30 days. After that you can choose to go back or simply play a lot less in your free time then you may have been before.

Learn How to Play Backgammon in No Time At All

Become absorbed in the world's most exciting game with an expert player!

Created by Alexander Schofield - Owner of ESL School and Former Star Headhunter

Students: 4275, Price: Free

Have you ever had one of those all-in-one game compendiums and wondered what those triangular points were? Are you looking for a new hobby that takes less than an hour of your time to learn but a lifetime to master? Then the world's oldest and most addictive game might just be for you.

Invented in Persia around 5000 years ago, Backgammon is played all over the world from the cafes of Istanbul to the prestigious World Championship held in Monte Carlo every August. It is a wickedly seductive game of skill and luck where in any given game a total beginner can defeat an esteemed grandmaster through hot dice alone but where superior skill will always pay off in the long run.

I started playing this wonderful game in 2012 and it has become a semi-obsession of mine. I am now playing at an expert level and competing in tournaments whenever possible (not easy as I live in China where it seems no-one has ever heard of it!).

I want to pay forward what this amazing game has given me by introducing it to a new generation of players. I use the very best software to illustrate the concepts in plain English, all appropriate jargon is clearly explained as this course assumes no prior knowledge of how to play.

Exploitative Betting – Advanced Matched Betting

Artimus Paint's Matched Betting Program

Created by Artimus Paint - Course Instructor

Students: 358, Price: Free

This is not a normal matched betting course. The method I focus on for extracting bonuses and getting added value is called "dutching". The aim of the program is to teach you to make more from bonuses, compared to the standard back and lay method.

I also focus on how to reduce your chances of getting your bookmaker accounts restricted. My advice on this is probably completely different from any advice you have heard before. The idea is that you present yourself as a normal punter.

You do have to think a bit more compared to using the standard back and lay method for matched betting. However, dutching makes matched betting more interesting, more creative and more profitable in the long-term.

You don't need software to use this method. You simply need access to calculators that are free on my website. You need to be from the UK or Ireland to get the full benefit from this course. This is because people from other countries may not have access to enough free bet offers to make the course worthwhile.

English Electric Lightning.

Do not let anything hold you back.

Students: 245, Price: Free

Another amazing free download from X-Plane 11 where you never stop learning.

The English Electric Lightning is a British fighter aircraft that served as an interceptor during the 1960s, the 1970s and into the late 1980s. It remains the only UK-designed-and-built fighter capable of Mach 2. The Lightning was designed, developed, and manufactured by English Electric, which was later absorbed by the newly-formed British Aircraft Corporation. Later the type was marketed as the BAC Lightning. It was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF), the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) and the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF).

A unique feature of the Lightning's design is the vertical, staggered configuration of its two Rolls-Royce Avon turbojet engines within the fuselage. The Lightning was initially designed and developed as an interceptor to defend the V bomber airfields[2] from attack by anticipated future nuclear-armed supersonic Soviet bombers such as what emerged as the Tupolev Tu-22, but it was subsequently also required to intercept other bomber aircraft such as the Tupolev Tu-16 and the Tupolev Tu-95.

The Lightning has exceptional rate of climb, ceiling, and speed; pilots have described flying it as "being saddled to a skyrocket". This performance and the initially limited fuel supply meant that its missions are dictated to a high degree by its limited range. Later developments provided greater range and speed along with aerial reconnaissance and ground-attack capability.

Following retirement by the RAF in the late 1980s, many of the remaining aircraft became museum exhibits. Until 2009, three Lightnings were kept flying at "Thunder City" in Cape Town, South Africa. In September 2008, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers conferred on the Lightning its "Engineering Heritage Award" at a ceremony at BAE Systems' site at Warton Aerodrome.

Overwing fuel tank fittings were fitted to the F6 variant only and offered the aircraft extended range. The maximum speed of the aircraft was ultimately affected and limited the top speed to a reported 1000mph.

Rafale Euro fighter Fast Jet Performance.

Learning to fly fast jets in VR. With Controllers.

Students: 243, Price: Free

If you have a gaming PC joystick etc controllers and a VR headset you can take to the sky in this free download. Best to do the basic flying course first then apply what you have learned to a fast jet. The Dassault Rafale (French pronunciation: [ʁafal], literally meaning "gust of wind", and "burst of fire" in a more military sense) is a French twin-engine, canard delta wing, multirole fighter aircraft designed and built by Dassault Aviation. Equipped with a wide range of weapons, the Rafale is intended to perform air supremacy, interdiction, aerial reconnaissance, ground support, in-depth strike, anti-ship strike and nuclear deterrence missions. The Rafale is referred to as an "omnirole" aircraft by Dassault.

In the late 1970s, the French Air Force and French Navy were seeking to replace and consolidate their current fleets of aircraft. In order to reduce development costs and boost prospective sales, France entered into an arrangement with the UK, Germany, Italy and Spain to produce an agile multi-purpose fighter, the Eurofighter Typhoon. Subsequent disagreements over workshare and differing requirements led to France's pursuit of its own development programme. Dassault built a technology demonstrator which first flew in July 1986 as part of an eight-year flight-test programme, paving the way for the go-ahead of the project. The Rafale is distinct from other European fighters of its era in that it is almost entirely built by one country, involving most of France's major defence contractors, such as Dassault, Thales and Safran.

Many of the aircraft's avionics and features, such as direct voice input, the RBE2 AA active electronically scanned array (AESA) radar and the optronique secteur frontal infra-red search and track (IRST) sensor, were domestically developed and produced for the Rafale programme. Originally scheduled to enter service in 1996, the Rafale suffered significant delays due to post-Cold War budget cuts and changes in priorities. The aircraft is available in three main variants: Rafale C single-seat land-based version, Rafale B twin-seat land-based version, and Rafale M single-seat carrier-based version.

Introduced in 2001, the Rafale is being produced for both the French Air Force and for carrier-based operations in the French Navy. The Rafale has been marketed for export to several countries, and was selected for purchase by the Indian Air Force, the Egyptian Air Force, the Qatar Air Force and the Hellenic Air Force. The Rafale has been used in combat over Afghanistan, Libya, Mali, Iraq and Syria.

Itemization Course League of Legends

League of Legends Itemization Course

Students: 126, Price: Free

Itemization is one of the most important concepts in League of Legends. Items decide the individual performance of a player, and without it their action will be lackluster. If you look at the patch notes of League of Legends, you can see that the items present are constantly getting tweaks and updates. These tweaks help balance the game out and allow players to actually play the game. Without proper itemization one can say that you have already lost the game.

However, itemizing properly is not a simple task. In Fact we believe theoretically it is one of the most difficult concepts in League of legends for beginner players. There are hundreds of items for players to memories with loads and loads of stats and numbers. Different items are required for different scenarios and it is crucial that you know the optimal build path for your champion at any stage of the game.

In this guide we take an in-depth look at the different items that are scattered across the shop. From the mythic that can single handedly change the course of the game if picked at the correct time to the starter items that will decide whether you make it past the laning phase.

Flying the Messerschmitt Bf 109 K

Learning to fly Warbirds in VR. With Controllers.

Created by Graham "The Baron" Hesketh - Online Flying instructor. Fixed wing Classic and Rotary.

Students: 117, Price: Free

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is a German World War II fighter aircraft that was, along with the Focke-Wulf Fw 190, the backbone of the Luftwaffe's fighter force. The Bf 109 first saw operational service in 1937 during the Spanish Civil War and was still in service at the dawn of the jet age at the end of World War II in 1945. It was one of the most advanced fighters when it first appeared, with an all-metal monocoque construction, a closed canopy, and retractable landing gear. It was powered by a liquid-cooled, inverted-V12 aero engine. From the end of 1941, the Bf 109 was steadily supplanted by the Focke-Wulf Fw 190. It was called the Me 109 by Allied aircrew and some German aces, even though this was not the official German designation.

It was designed by Willy Messerschmitt and Robert Lusser who worked at Bayerische Flugzeugwerke during the early to mid-1930s. It was conceived as an interceptor, although later models were developed to fulfill multiple tasks, serving as bomber escort, fighter-bomber, day-, night-, all-weather fighter, ground-attack aircraft, and reconnaissance aircraft. It was supplied to several states during World War II, and served with several countries for many years after the war. The Bf 109 is the most produced fighter aircraft in history, with a total of 33,984 airframes produced from 1936 to April 1945. Some of the Bf 109 production took place in Nazi concentration camps through slave labor.

The Bf 109 was flown by the three top-scoring fighter aces of all time, who claimed 928 victories among them while flying with Jagdgeschwader 52, mainly on the Eastern Front. The highest-scoring, Erich Hartmann, was credited with 352 victories. The aircraft was also flown by Hans-Joachim Marseille, the highest-scoring ace in the North African Campaign who shot down 158 enemy aircraft (in about a third of the time). It was also flown by many aces from other Axis nations, notably the Finn Ilmari Juutilainen, the highest-scoring non-German ace. Pilots from Italy, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria, and Hungary also flew the Bf 109. Through constant development, the Bf 109 remained competitive with the latest Allied fighter aircraft until the end of the war.

Flying the Spitfire Mk 9

Flying the Mk9 Spitfire in VR. X-Plane 11.

Created by Graham "The Baron" Hesketh - Online Flying instructor. Fixed wing Classic and Rotary.

Students: 114, Price: Free

The British Supermarine Spitfire was facing several challenges by mid-1942. The debut of the formidable Focke-Wulf Fw 190 in late 1941 had caused problems for RAF fighter squadrons flying the latest Spitfire Mk Vb. Rolls-Royce engineers were already working on a new version of the Merlin incorporating a two-stage supercharger; the combination of the improved Merlin and the Spitfire Mk VC airframe in a "stop-gap" design allowed the RAF to combat the Fw 190 on equal terms.

In a second stream of development Supermarine was working on an improved, reinforced, Spitfire airframe which incorporated several new features and was designed for the Merlin 60 and 70 series engines. This new airframe later formed the basis for the Rolls-Royce Griffon powered Spitfires. This article presents a history of the Spitfire powered by two-stage engine variants and also describes some of the "drawing board" projects and experimental Spitfires. The Griffon powered variants are described in a separate article.

Basic flying lessons Chipmunk De Havilland

Do not let anything hold you back. the de Havilland DHC1 Chipmunk

Created by Graham "The Baron" Hesketh - Online Flying instructor. Fixed wing Classic and Rotary.

Students: 109, Price: Free

This aircraft is incredible good fun to fly. Learning to fly should be fun. Learning to fly in VR is as inexpensive as it gets and the realism is amazing. I am a real pilot and I love flying in VR and doing all the daft stunts I would never do in real life. VR is a brilliant environment to learn to fly as it will teach you what you need to know before you pay to fly a real aircraft. Which means you will fly through your pilots licence a lot quicker than the rest.

The de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk is a tandem, two-seat, single-engine primary trainer aircraft designed and developed by Canadian aircraft manufacturer de Havilland Canada. It was developed shortly after the Second World War and sold in large numbers during the immediate post-war years, being typically employed as a replacement for the de Havilland Tiger Moth biplane.

The Chipmunk was the first post-war aviation project conducted by de Havilland Canada. It performed its maiden flight on 22 May 1946 and was introduced to operational service that same year. During the late 1940s and 1950s, the Chipmunk was procured in large numbers by military air services such as the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), Royal Air Force (RAF), and several other nations' air forces, where it was often utilised as their standard primary trainer aircraft. The type produced under licence by de Havilland in the United Kingdom, who would produce the vast majority of Chipmunks, as well as by OGMA (Oficinas Gerais de Material Aeronáutico) in Portugal.

A DHC-1 Chipmunk

The type was slowly phased out of service beginning in the late 1950s, although in the ab initio elementary training role, this did not happen in the Royal Air Force until 1996, when it was replaced by the Scottish Aviation Bulldog.

Many Chipmunks that had been in military use were sold to civilians, either to private owners or to companies, where they were typically used for a variety of purposes, often involving the type's excellent flying characteristics and its capability for aerobatic manoeuvres. More than 70 years after the type having first entered service, hundreds of Chipmunks remain airworthy and are in operation around the world. The Portuguese Air Force still operates six Chipmunks, which serve with Esquadra 802, as of 2018.

The aircraft is named after the Chipmunk, a small rodent.

Yak 18T. 4 seat fully aerobatic.

Do not let anything hold you back.

Created by Graham "The Baron" Hesketh - Online Flying instructor. Fixed wing Classic and Rotary.

Students: 44, Price: Free

The Yakovlev Yak-18T (Russian: Яковлев Як-18T) is a four- or five-seat fully aerobatic utility aircraft. Introduced to train Aeroflot pilots, it has gained some popularity as a sportplane both
inside and outside the former USSR. It is powered by a 268-298 kW (360-400 hp) Vedeneyev M14P radial engine, and is designed for stresses of +6.48/-3.24 g.

The 18T was designed in the late 60's, as a civilian aircraft. The aircraft has a nosewheel, is a four- or five-seater, and has a nine-cylinder 360 hp radial. The Yak-18T shares systems with the
Yak-50/52 family. These aircraft all have the 265 kW (355 hp) Vedeneyev M14 nine-cylinder radial engine as well as the same underlying compressed-air system for engine starting, brakes,
undercarriage and flaps. The propeller, avionics and other parts are also shared. The Yak-18T, like all Russian aircraft used for training, is aerobatic.

Compared with other four-seat light aircraft such as the Cessna 172 or the Piper PA-28, the Yak-18T is only a little wider and longer but it is much heavier and is equipped with a considerably
more powerful engine. The Yak-18T is perhaps better compared with the Piper Saratoga which has two extra seats but which has a similar maximum weight, together with a retractable undercarriage and a similarly powerful engine. The Yak-18T is, however, distinguished by its strong construction, aerobatic capability and docile yet responsive handling characteristics.

The Yak-18T prototype had its first flight in mid-1967 and subsequently the type was placed in series production in Smolensk.

The Yak-18T went on to become the standard basic trainer with Aeroflot flight schools, while small numbers also entered service with the Soviet Air Force as liaison and communications aircraft. After approximately 700 were built, many for Aeroflot, production ceased in the late 1980s, to be resumed in 1993. In 2011 it was claimed that the type remained in small-scale production by the Yakolev Design Bureau, although apparently none had been produced in more than a decade.

Technoavia has marketed the SM94, its own development of the Yak-18T, featuring curved windshield, larger fuel tanks and choice of avionics package, but production is dependent on orders being placed.
