Madelaine Weiss

Madelaine Claire Weiss is an MBA, LICSW, and Board Certified Executive, Career, and Life Coach. When she was 15, her father died of a stroke. Spirited as she was, Madelaine always believed her father died of her, until the day she learned from her mother that her father died of “work.” Madelaine now devotes herself to helping high achievers live happier, healthier, productive lives, maintaining high performance without burning out.

Madelaine is a blogger, podcast guest expert, speaker, trainer, and published author. Her work experience includes mental health practice administrative director, psychotherapist, chief organizational development officer of a commercial insurance company, and associate director of educational resource program, Harvard Medical School. At Harvard, Madelaine spoke before the Joint Committee on the Status of Women, and designed training programs for the Center for Workplace Learning and Performance.

She is co-author in Handbook of Stressful Transition Across the Lifespan, has written for the National Psychologist, Across Species Comparisons and Psychopathology Newsletter and Massachusetts Council On Family Mediation Quarterly, and is the author of the forthcoming Getting to Great: 5-Step Strategy for Work and Life…Based on Science and True Stories (including her own) — a lively, practical guidebook for living with a proven method that has already changed many lives.
